[Weekly Scribbling] Week 9

Where I challenge myself to write at least one micro story/text/something each week.

Long story short, I’ve been thinking a lot about my unfinished nanowrimo novel of last year and this little prompt about my two main protagonists just happened…

The path was long and arduous, as it always is. But it was the path they had chosen to walk. Knowingly. Deeply aware of everything they could lose on the way. Strongly convinced they’d certainly lose it all had they not made that decision.

It had never been an easy choice but it had always been the obvious one. Their world was agonizing. They could feel it in their flesh and soul. Burying their head in the sand was not an option. It never was.

And they had each other. For as long as Fate would grant them. A hand to hold, a shoulder to cry on, a heart to draw strength from. Partners, friends, lovers. All the more to lose. All the more to fight for.

It hadn’t always been this way. They both started to walk the path long before they met. Alone. The chaos they sought to ease brought them together. For better or worse. For a purpose. For the Song of the Earth to keep rising.

No idea who the protagonists are, but I couldn’t get out Khessya and Theron out of my head. Somewhere around Chapter 9 of KOTFE.
Only the “Earth” reference doesn’t fit for me. 🙂
    I’m so broken 😉
