Son of a Jedi and an SIS Agent, Ty’rhael is an exception to the Jedi Order as he has been raised by his mother who also was his first Master. He is the result of a short affair that happened during an SIS mission his mother had taken part to as a healer.

While his parents both had deep respect and affection for each other, they were not in love and agreed that Ty’rhael should be raised by his mother with his father being a part of his life as often as his work would allow him to.

Ty’rhael was thus raised to respect the Jedi Order teachings and the Republic values by his mother while enjoying short and irregular visits from his father until he went missing in action during a mission in Imperial space.

While committed to galactic peace and to the Jedi Order, Ty’rhael doesn’t agree on the Order’s views on relationships and families. He is after all a living proof that Jedi can love and care for others without turning to the dark side.
