Aenyssa, the Shadow Collector

Class: Sith Inquisitor, Sorcerer (Corruption)

Species: Twi’lek

Love Interest: Theron Shan

Broken chains have little meaning when you live your life locked up in a cage.

Before her Force sensitivity manifested itself, Aenyssa’s life was the same as most pretty Twi’lek born in Imperial space: a dancer and a slave.

Her life took an unexpected turn when her master, a rich and influential businessman, sent her to entertain a potential business partner before negotiating a deal. Drunk and temperamental, the man chose to express his discontent with Aenyssa’s performance by hitting her in the face with a broken bottle.

Before she could even begin to understand what was happening, Aenyssa was dragged from a ravaged room and a burnt-to-crisp body into the Sith Academy on Korriban.

Her life as a slave might not have prepared her for the deadly competition taking place within the Academy walls but it did help her hide her good heart and nature beneath a mask of arrogance and cynicism. And while her lack of experience and naivety made her the perfect victim for Lord Zash’s schemes, her tendency to distrust anyone on principle saved her from becoming her Master’s puppet.

Her ascendance to the Dark Council forced her to keep the act of the arrogant Sith Lord but also allowed her to work in the shadows to try and change the Empire from within.

In her darkest moments, Aenyssa often found herself wishing she had been born in the Republic, even more so now that she has made the acquaintance of a certain SIS agent.
